The 2001 Canadian Classic

The 2001 Canadian Classic was hosted by Chris Walker and Gertha Griffiths, and ably assisted by Frank Manning. Our congratulations go out to them for a job well done.

The Canadian Classic's venue was Jordan Harbour, Ontario, just a few miles west of St. Catherines. The Best Western Beacon Harbour Side Resort provide our home facilities for 3 days whjle we toured the surrounding country side, including nearby Niagara Falls. Winery tours are high on the agenda and there are lots of them around. For the Friday drive, we dropped in on three of them, Cave Springs Cellars, Vineland Estates Winery, and Henry of Pelham Winery.

On Saturday, everyone shuffled off to Port Dalhousie's waterfront park for the car show and Concourse judging. Forty-one classic British cars were on display and lots of local visitors came to oogle and talk about their British cars.
