Delft Blue 1976 Triumph TR6 for sale Same owner last 34 years. 124,000 miles. A good driver that is well sorted mechanically. Recent new half shafts and rear brakes. Clutch was renewed in 2012. Chrome valve cover and air cleaner housing. Transmission is a 4-speed but without the overdrive. Interior is in good condition outside of needing a new glove box liner. Original top is aged with some damage but is still useable. Paint is an older, single stage, re-spray from the early 1980's. It still shows well at first glance but on closer inspection some aging, cosmetic damage and minor blisters can be seen in spots. The body is in generally good condition for an Ontario based car. There are some areas that have small patch repairs and this is where the minor blisters mentioned have developed. Door gaps are good! Biggest negative issue is the breast plate area and rear suspension trailing arm cross members of the frame ahead of the rear differential. This is a common trouble spot on the TR6 and is often poorly patched up with generic plate steel. This area remains original on this car but some rust damage has developed (see photos). The car is useable as is but will need to be repaired to get certified. It could be quickly and cheaply patched up with some welding or properly repaired with new trailing arm cross members and a bottom breastplate. We were quoted $2,000 for this work by a shop that does this repair regularly. ($500 parts, $1,500 labour) Cloth car cover included. Asking $7,900 as is. Located south of Collingwood
