I am looking for a new home where I will continue to be loved and appreciated, proudly shown and passionately driven for many years to come. Heritage: I was lovingly restored by Bill Grey, one of the founders of the Toronto Triumph Club, and have won many, many accolades over the years, locally and internationally. Born for the open road, I show extremely well and turn heads wherever I go but my true love is the open road and I am built to drive. While I am primarily true to original, I have electronic ignition and a TR6 overdrive transmission to provide a reliable, fully synchromesh driving experience. My body and frame are straight and true and have been well maintained. Full documentation on my history is provided and I come with full weather gear, tonneau, original tools and manuals as well as extra badging and Lucas fog lamps in original boxes. Contact Merle Cole at merlecole@rogers.com, 905-925-7948 (cell), in Oshawa. An adoption fee of $32K is a very fair price for a fine English thoroughbread.

My mother-in-law purchased this Spitfire in 1979 from a friend and it was summer driven for pleasure until 1998. It has been stored under a cover in a dry, attached garage since the fall of 1998 and has never been winter driven. I have been asked to try to find a good home with someone in the Triumph community who wants to restore the vehicle. It has 38,599 miles on it. We are not sure if the engine will turn over since the battery is dead. It also comes with the tool kit, jack and repair manual. Given the length of time it has been sitting, my mother-in-law does not want to make any repairs, and wants to sell it as-is to make space in the garage for winter storage of a different car. The vehicle is located at a residence near the Civic Hospital in Ottawa.

TR6 in the need of a bit a TLC but in really good shape. It will need a horn hooked up, blinker switch [I have a new one], the proper relay to hook up blinkers lights. There is a dent in the passenger side fender but other then that it is a solid car. That car has 56,380 miles on it, runs great, no leaks that I have found. It comes with a new set of hoses, cover, boot, soft top that will need minor repair and hard top. Serious inquires only.

In long term dry storage, a no rust project that has new parts equal to about asking price. Some incorrect new parts but would make a great daily driver with no extra cost or a rebuild for a show car. Runs stops and shifts very well. Might consider a four seat convertible or a TR6 in trade up or down.

Well, as sorry as I am to see it go, here's an opportunity for someone out there. Pristine 1975 Spitfire with 53,000 miles (not KM). New Clutch, alternator, battery, exhaust and $700 Mazda Miata Seat upgrade shown in about 1/2 the photos. Recent work was done by Trevor Whyte up in Gormley. A stereo is included w/box speakers but I've gone Bluetooth and there are speakers in the Miata seat headrests. New Leather wrap and bird's eye maple dash as well. This car has been impeccably maintained and extra parts (not needed) are included w/purchase. Additional photos are located here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/jal354a6plgn2li/AAD9sN2R_8sc0PH_vgAoIhCoa?dl=0 Someone could walk away with this car for $8300 and that includes title, registration and taxes.
