To prevent rear axle internal air pressure build-up and subsequent axle shaft and pinion oil seal by-pass/leakage, always clean the air vent”bore-hole” when checking the rear axle oil level, (Vent is located on the right hand upper section of the axle housing adjacent to
the rear axle differential cover).
