We have sold my wife’s TR6 and consequently the NEW enhancement and maintenance parts I have accumulated are now being offered for sale. This is one of the maintenance items. It is a remanufactured Lucas alternator. It is a TRF LUA1811 unit that retails at TRF for $165 (USD) plus $45 (USD) core charge, at British Parts NorthWest for $200 (USD) plus $50 (USD) core charge, or Moss Motors for $200 (USD) plus $200 (USD) core charge. It is available for $200 (CDN) with no core charge. The unit is a Lucas 14022A1811, Type 18ACR, 45 amp. The Roadster Factory added the LU in front of the Lucas number, thus on their label, LUA1811, is the Lucas number A1811. The A18 is for ACR18. The Lucas manual lists the A1811 for a 1974-73 TR6. It might also fit a Stag Mk2.All items can be brought to a future TTC event or shipped at purchaser’s expense.
