Update from Toronto Triumph Club regarding the Covid19 Pandemic – 28th March 2020

Good day everyone.   I just wanted to let you know that The Ancaster British Car Flea Market and Car Show has been cancelled for 2020 due to the Corona Virus Pandemic.   It’s a shame but not really a surprise and I suspect we’ll see more events cancelled over the next few months.

It is only 8 days since I sent my last note to club members when I suggested that we could organise local drives to exercise our Triumphs, ensuring of course that everyone abided by the recommendations made by our health authorities concerning physical distancing.  However the Covid19 Pandemic continues to escalate in our communities and we can no longer endorse this behaviour.   We need to show leadership and strictly adhere to the physical distancing and isolation guidelines and laws that we are hearing all about.  In summary, stay home and keep safe.

All future Club Meetings are cancelled until further notice including the drive to Legendary Motors planned for 25th April.

We know that everyone is focussed on the health and safety of themselves, families and friends while balancing the challenges of daily life.  These extraordinary circumstances are evolving rapidly and we will continue to provide updates as necessary.  In the meantime look after yourselves and we’ll get through this.
