Good day everyone. I have a couple of things to share which can’t wait until September. This week has been a stellar one for TTC activities. Our west end drive took place (eventually) on Monday.

… we joined up with the MGCCT for a drive on Tuesday evening.

.. and some of the guys drove their golf clubs earlier today. But we’re not done yet for events in August.
Saturday 21st August – Hillsburgh Classic Car Cruise
Terence saw this short drive advertised in the local Wellington paper. This classic car cruise starts in Hillsburgh (just north of Erin) on Saturday, August 21 at 12:30 p.m. with a rain day of August 28 (https://www.facebook.com/LGHGcommittee/). It’s just a short cruise route from Ann Street to Trafalgar Road near Wellington Road 22 but the drive there and back could be worthwhile.
Wednesday 25th August – Peterborough Drive NEW DATE
Clive Huizinga and Alex McLeod had planned this event for Saturday; however Bob Caygeon was so busy at the weekend they have decided to defer it to next Wednesday. It’s not too late to register so you can contact Clive at clivehuizinga@yahoo.com
Sunday 29th – Wellington County Car Show
The 45th Wellington County Car Show will be held on Sunday 29th August at the Wellington Museum on County Road 18 between Fergus and Elora. Here’s the URL: https://www.wellington.ca/en/museum-and-archives.aspx The show runs from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and it’s suggested that you arrive at around Noon to secure a good parking spot. Admission is free but you can make a donation to a local charity if you wish. The show will consist of classic cars from all countries including of course LBCs. While there you can take in a tour of the museum, listen to a local band and enjoy a hamburger or hot dog.
Early September Drives
We haven’t organised anything yet but stay tuned for future drives.
10th to12th September – Drive Festival Event at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park
You should already have received an invitation to this event to take part in the TTC-designated show area. So far we have only received a handful of participants and we need 10 Triumphs for each day so that we can enjoy the benefits of our own space. If you haven’t registered and plan to go please sign up via:

If you are planning to go to the event but not in your Triumph, Drive Festival is offering 20% off ticket price to TTC club members and friends & family. Here’s the URL.

Thursday 16th September – Club Meeting at Junction Craft Brewery (Keele & St. Claire)
Derek McAllister has organised our next club meeting at the Junction Craft Brewery where you can enjoy a tour and tasting. An invitation has already been sent but if you haven’t registered yet go to https://torontotriumphclub15.wildapricot.org/event-4456304
I do hope that you are managing to enjoy some of the summer TTC events and let’s hope they continue well into the fall. Should you have any questions, please call me.
